Prototype Consulting Process
New inventions or napkin drawn ideas can become a realty. The first step is building a prototype. To help build a tangible prototype a 3D animation or computer generated visualization must created first to avoid costly mistakes when building a tangible prototype. Inventions Unlimited (IU) has developed a workable process to help inventors create a product sample. Every inventor gets instruction and guidance to following a design and engineering protocol that (IU) has developed for successful results. (IU) lays out product ideas in a laboratory facility for each inventor. The end result is a prototyping process that creates a product sample that is tangible and allows for further testing.
Consulting & Coordination Process
During the prototyping of any new idea, the coordination of the different new idea elements is an integral part of the process, especially with respect to prototypes that have mechanical and electrical parts.
We will work with all inventors to define legal requirements to keep their prototype. However, if Inventions Unlimited (IU) participates in building a prototype with an inventor than (IU) is also entitled to partial ownership of the prototype. (IU) wants all it’s inventor partners to succeed. We believe in a “win win” relationship.
We take careful steps to schedule specific times for our lab facility to an individual inventor and his/her team members to keep ideas and prototypes private and secret. No one has access to the lab unless given a password entrance code.
Each prototype project requires different elements which have various costs involved. Each prototype project will be given a cost estimate before starting.
If you’re still not sure about working with Inventions Unlimited we will gladly answer your questions and/or concerns. Please contact us at your convenience.
Prototype Cost Control (Consulting)
During the prototype process, (IU) will provide up-to-date information to each inventor on the total costs for building their prototype.
Prototype Legal Protection
One of the most critical stages of the prototype process is making sure the inventor’s idea is protected. All Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and Legal documents must be in place before any prototyping takes place. These legal documents are needed for the protection of the inventor and (IU).
